Free WordPress Hosting for all FrontPageBids.com Members
December 12, 2007 – 1:20 pmOne complaint we consistently encounter is that the “Digg Effect” destroys servers, resulting in reduced value to the advertiser as that website hits the front page.
Fortunately, we understand how to build servers that can easily withstand the “Digg Effect“. So we have decided to offer free hosting to bloggers that use the WordPress platform and are free members of FrontPageBids.com.
Initially, this offer will only apply to those who sign up during the private beta invitation phase, which is set to end January 1, 2008. We will continue to host the blogs for free until the membership is canceled.
We will optimize your blog to handle the Digg Effect and set up and maintain WordPress at no additional cost. If you have an existing WordPress blog, we can also assist with the migration.
To get started, sign up here before January 1, 2008.

Heh, looks like you are about to feel the wrath of the Digg effect.

Man, could have used this last Sunday. Had a story get stumbled by a top stumbler. Took 90 seconds worth of traffic to shut down our server. Missed 32K in traffic, as the story that got stumbled soon hit the FP of Digg. At the same time, another story from the blog was in “Hot in All Topics” but missed the FP because nobody could read it! Count me in all day.

I just got an invite and signed up. I wonder if this offer is still available and if so, how do I or my referrals go about taking advantage of it?
